Congratulations – you found me.
I’d love to make something up here that is extremely insightful like, “prepare to be bamboozled” but that isn’t true. I simply made this site as a place to get back to writing about the Arsenal and hopefully share these musings with you.
The plan is to write semi-regularly (every couple weeks?) and host a few guest blogs from time to time. In addition, I’ve been experimenting with some football analytics and I’ll be regularly sharing my findings here as well (I’m a total amateur so don’t get your hopes up). Finally, there may also be some surprises because let’s be honest, I’m making this up as I go.

How’d I Get Here?
Some of you will know me as the former Chief Blogger for A Bergkamp Wonderland and I was extremely fortunate to run the blogs over at ABW. I still have many friends over there but put simply, the time was right to back away from the regular editing and posting of blogs and get back to just writing for myself.
That’s where SMRTETA comes in.
I’ve been toying with having my own site for some time, and now that I have the time, I’m excited that SMRTETA has come to life.
This site isn’t going to blow any minds, it’s definitely not as clever as I think it is, and it isn’t some cool hipster niche football latte site. It will, however, feature blogs on the Arsenal in my own style.
